Pittington Brass was formed in 1992 and has gone from strength to strength. We play for the fun of it, all genres of music, traditional brass, classical, Beatles to Beethoven, jazz, Elvis, you name it. We do not contest which has attracted many good players who just wanted to play for the enjoyment of it. One of our proudest achievements is how we have been able to teach (for nothing) youngsters and indeed learners of all ages, giving them free loan of instruments. We meet every Thursday in Pittington village hall. It’s important to keep music live.
Pittington Brass will be performing as part of the Sound of Sunday care home programme.
