Brassed On

Presented in partnership with NARC.

Durham Town Hall
Hector Gannet and Nadedja in a promotional image for Brassed On.

Brassed On, our showcase which will see two of the region’s most exciting up and coming artists partner with brass players to give their music a whole new dimension, returns after debuting as part of last year’s festival.

Compered by BBC’s Shakk, this year’s exciting collaborative performances will see North Shield’s masters of a new kind of modernist folk, Hector Gannet perform with NuSound Brass, and Sunderland-based, Brazilian-born alt-pop artist Nadedja perform with Loud Noises to produce brand-new brass arrangements to perform their songs in a way they’ve never heard before.

This event is sold out.
